Uganda Cranes Fans out side Namboole Stadium after the Game

Uganda’s Under 20 women’s side showed their hunger for goals with a 9-0 whitewash of South Sudan in the first leg of the U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier played at the National Stadium in Juba yesterday.

Viola Nambi scored a hat trick before Ritah Kivumbi and Hasfah Nassuna netted a brace each. Skipper Stellah Nassuna and second half substitute Rukia Queen scored one goal each.
“We are happy that the girls picked a big win and now we need to prepare them well for the return leg,” newly elected FA president Moses Magogo told MTNFootball.com.
Other African teams that will play in the qualifiers include; South Africa, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Equatorial Guinea, Ghana, Guinea Bissau, Ivory Coast, Egypt, Morocco, Mozambique, Nigeria, Tanzania, Tunisia and Zambia.
