M7 Discusses Hydro Power With Chinese Bank Boss
Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni on Friday morning met and held talks with the Chairman and President of the Export-Import Bank of China (EXIM), Mr. Li Ruogu, who paid a courtesy call on him at State House Entebbe.
The President andthe Chinese official, discussed construction of Karuma and Isimba hydro power stations that are supported by EXIM Bank.
The President told Exim Bank Executives that energy is key to industrial development and that lowe tarrif of energy would lower business costs.
The government of Uganda’s budget this financial year is focused on infrastructural development
