3 perish in nasty accident along the Kabale –Kisoro road

Three people on Monday evening died following fatal accident at Air land Hotel near the Kisoro Airfield in Kabuga Village, Gasiza Parish, Nyakabande Sub County, Kisoro district along the kabale-kisoro road.
Elisa Niyonzima 56 , a resident of Gisasa Village, Muhindura Parish Kanaba Sub County and Junior Byaruhanga 22 , a resident of Kagano Village, Muhindura Parish, Kanaba Sub County died on Spot after a Scania fuel tanker Registration number KCH 014K/ ZF 5477 rammed into them while they were riding on a motorcycle registration number UDW 017N.
The same fuel tanker, which had already lost control also rammed into a silver Subaru Forester Registration number UBM 445A which had two Mathias Dusabimana 50, a medical worker at Buhinga Hospital in Fort Portal District was driving along with Byukusenge Federensi aged 22 Tragically, Byukusenge, a student at Kabale University passed away last night at St. Francis Hospital Mutolere after sustaining serious head injuries causing internal bleeding to the brain.
Elly Maate the Kigezi region Police Spokesperson said the cause of the accident is suspected break failure on the side of the fuel tanker.
The driver who has been identified as Abdikadil, 35 of Kenyan Origin is still at large after evading Police arrest.
The bodies of the deceased were taken to Kisoro Hospital for Postmortem and later handed over to the relatives for a decent burial
