LOVE IN THE AIR! VP Alupo falls in love again

On March 11th, 2022, residents of Rweicumu village, Mabare parish, Masheruka Town Council, Sheema North in Sheema district formerly part of greater Bushenyi district, noticed unusual security deployment in the area.

As excited villagers paced up and down to find out what was going on, it later emerged that it was the Vice President of Uganda, Jessica Alupo who had stormed the area.

Those in the know anticipated Alupo to be in the area the following day (12th March) to officiate at Sheema district Women’s day celebrations which were to be held at Kakindo town council Sheema District.
However, her presence a day before surprised everyone.
Ladies and Gentlemen, it has now emerged that Alupo has fallen in true love again. She was not in the village as a mere VP but also a future “daughter-in-law”. She has found the love of her life in a man who hails from greater Bushenyi district, this publication has learnt.

Alupo bitterly broke up with the father of her children, Innocent Tukashaba many years back.

Sources who eavesdropped on her phone conversations with someone who sounded like President Museveni, heard her telling him that she was that night going to sleep at her “other village”. This was understood to mean “her new man’s home village” [sic]
It is normal for the VP to brief her boss on her movements and schedules. We are told the President gave her blessings, sent greetings to the locals and on her instigation (after finding the place in darkness and full of dust with bumpy roads) , the President also promised a 30km first class murram road in the area and as well electricity extension in some parts.

The details of this lucky man who has melted the VP’s heart are still being withheld pending verification. However, it goes without mention that he also works in the office of the VP (as a junior) but now wields much power due to his closeness to the powerful VP, atleast horizontally.

We have learnt that some staff (Conan Businge, Augustine Otuko and others) in her office have lost their positions on his alleged advice. “He is not powerful in terms of position, he is actually a junior and young but fate in the name of love has made him powerful. So, he has to guard his catch by all means. We believe that’s why some people are being moved,” an insider intimated to us.

The source in the Vice Presidents’ office says the new man is well behaved and cares for the VP. That this also could explain why he is not comfortable seeing some people of Conan’s age being by her side. If you know you know.

BACK TO THE FUNCTION

Our highly placed source further tells us that bummy Jessica is so keen with her new relationship.

She has managed to keep it a top secret for some good time until recently when love betrayed them and signs began to pop whenever the two would appear in public.

Alupo and her new lover, according to sources never move together in her official car and convoy however he has a government car and one body guard.

The same source adds that he moves with the VP at every state and private function but seats back as he watches over his woman. To our source this explains why Jessica has tremendously changed ever since she was named the VP. She is a shadow of herself from the days when she had decided to settle back home in Katakwi district.

But on that function in particular, those who were keen must have observed that the arrived together after a night at his home. He was dressed in a light blue checkered court, a white shirt and Khaki trouser. She even went on to introduce him as one of her close influential aides[sic].

Alupo in her speech congratulated women of Sheema upon reaching their day and pledged to help their different projects with 30 million shillings.

She revealed that she has lobbied for culverts for Sheema roads and asked councilors to get specifications of the roads that need them.

The function had been organized by Sheema District woman Member of Parliament Rosemary Nyakikongoro working with other Mps and district leaders. As the chief host, Nyakikongoro thanked the vice president for giving a positive response towards their invitation. Speaker by speaker there were promises to build hospitals, extend electricity, fix roads and as well improve water access.
