Kigezi cleric and leaders express worries over neglected boy child

Rt.Rev. Gaddie Akanjuna the Bishop of the Diocese of Kigezi, Sarah Nyirabashitsi Mateke Minister of State for Youth and Children Affairs and Roland Bish Ndyomugyenyi the Rukiga County Member of Parliament have expressed their concern over government and various NGOs over neglecting of the boy child and empowering girl child more leaving aside boys.

Rt. Rev Gaddie Akanjuna the Bishop of the Diocese of Kigezi calls upon the need to also onsider educating a boy child as it has been for a girl child saying that government and various NGOs have focused much on empowering girl child, leaving aside boys not knowing that what you put in your children is what they will pay you.
He asked parents to nurture their male children, planting in them good seeds for a bright future.
Sarah Nyirabashitsi Mateke Minister of State for Youth and Children Affairs says that there is also a need of the church to also to start the ministry about the boy child as it’s done to the girl child When a girl is getting married, aunt’s advice but bits aren’t advised as well talked to that has led to many marriages end early.
“The church need to start ministry on young men women have aunts but who talks to the young men i the boy child is not left behind”. Said Mateke.
She also warned parents to take extreme precautions as homosexuals are busy targeting new recruits in schools promising them a lot of money saying that agents are moving ij schools recruiting the youth to join homosexuality promising them a lot of money as the information she has got is that they are paid Ugx 500.000 per month, attributing the increased acts of homosexuality among the youth mostly students to parents who have failed to perform their duties as well as poverty saying that those that are recruiting the youth are promising them a lot of money
“Check your children, there’s a serious problem of homosexuality I have a case in my office where some youth was promised a job abroad but he was later taken and they used him in homosexuality but now he has HIV and hepatitis B, the company that took him wasn’t registered but the police are doing investigations anyway”. Said Mateke.
They said this on Saturday at Thanksgiving ceremony of the Rukiga County Member of Parliament Roland Ndyomugyenyi Bish and Fundraising for the completion of Ryabirenye Church of Uganda in Nyabirerema Archdeaconry, Rukiga Distract.
Roland Ndyomugyenyi Bish the Rukiga County Member of Parliament responded to the Bishop’s call of raising a boy child saying that it will be presented on the floor of Parliament to ensure that it’s tackled at the National level.
Bishop Akanjuna also told believers that thanksgiving is something that comes from the inner bottom of a person’s heart thus thanking the area MP for planning this grand function to thank God for what he has done for him.
The Speaker of Uganda’s Parliament Anita Annet Among who was represented by the Shadow Attorney General and Ndorwa County East Wilfred Niwagaba as the guest of honor thanked the Rukiga district leaders for being cooperative and called upon their electorate to continue supporting them because they are hard working as she contributed Ugx 20 million towards this church construction.
Ndyomugyenyi Bish who gave in Ugx 60 million cash thanked his visitors who made it to the function and those who sent in their contributions not forgetting the people of Rukiga district who supported him during the elections and pledged to continue supporting all religions in all aspects.
