Delhi Public, Nurturing Children into Science and Technological Skills

In a bid to promote science and technology in the country, Delhi Public School International (DPS) has embarked on a campaign aimed at creating awareness regarding the role of science and technology in socio-economic and sustainable growth through developing scientific attitude in the young generation.

On Saturday, children and students of DPSI held a science exhibition as part of their campaign, where children demonstrated their showcase in different diversities.

“We thought of this exhibition purposely to provide an exploratory experience and promote creative thinking and manipulative skills among our children through self devised exhibits using; models or simple apparatus,” said Mary Jacob, principal DPSI.

She also added that, the exhibition strategy is being used as a problem solving approach towards developing appropriate technologies through integrating scientific idea with daily life situations and helps to inculcate science spirit in young generations, among others.

DPSI is one of Uganda’s top schools, with a state of art building, fully flagged with World first class facilities including; Swimming Pool, Rest Rooms for early years pupils; from Pre-Primary School to Grade 12.
