Augustine Nsumba Will Be A SC Villa Player Next Season As Coach Bogere Confirms Switch

nsumbaSC Villa are set to sign Augustine Nsumba for a second time after head coach Steven Bogere confirmed the former Jogoo midfielder WILL be playing at Villa Park next season.

A teen Nsumba left Villa Park in 2008 for greener football pastures in Iceland (IBV) for a record 45 million Uganda shillings have developed into a fearsome midfielder returning to Uganda two years later to join Uganda Cup holders Uganda Revenue Authority.

But the ‘Small One,’ as he is commonly known in football circles, has now fallen out of favour at URA for being too fat despite pleas from his coaches to watch his diet.

And now Villa faithfuls have revealed to HELLO! Uganda that’s Jogoo boss Bogere is closely following the events unfolding at URA especially with the Nsumba matter.

“We know how to get the best out of Nsumba. Afterall its Villa that nurtured him and opening the doors again for him is automatic,” Bogore tells the daily tabloid.

NsumbaaNsumba apparently told his players at URA that he had played final minutes for tax collectors and will move to mother club; “Jogoo gave me the opportunity to come to go to Europe. I didn’t have as many opportunities and If I have to return to Villa, I will do it.

The star once heralded as the solution to The Cranes creative midfield position is a son to Sarah Namanda and Kyeswa Alex of Mukono District and was born in 1987.
