BIG FOOT COP FINALLY GETS JUSTICE! Police Forced To Order Special “Aircraft Carrier” Shoes For Size-17 Officer After Years Of Sole Suffering!

There was excitement, relief and probably a small earthquake at the Directorate of Logistics and Engineering headquarters in Kampala Thursday, May 14, after Uganda Police finally solved one of the Force’s most unusual welfare headaches — finding shoes big enough for an officer whose feet reportedly arrive at a scene before the rest of his body!
No. 82378 PPC Olepus Jovian, attached to the Anti-Stock Theft Unit in Napak District, officially received two specially made size-17 police shoes in a touching ceremony that turned into a full-blown “mission accomplished” event.

Since joining the Uganda Police Force, poor Olepus had allegedly been fighting a silent war against ordinary footwear. Sources say every standard police shoe surrendered instantly upon seeing his foot size, leaving the officer struggling for comfort while carrying out daily duties.
Accompanied by his father — who witnesses say looked equally relieved that the family foot dynasty had finally found salvation — Olepus received the custom-made giants from AIGP James Apora, the Director of Logistics and Engineering.
Speaking during the handover, Apora admitted Olepus’ case became one of the most unique welfare challenges the Directorate has ever handled, forcing officials to make a special order so the officer could finally serve the country without torturing his toes.
“We could not allow one of our own to continue working without proper footwear. His case opened our eyes to the need for advance planning in handling special welfare requirements for officers. I thank him for remaining patient and never feeling neglected by the Force,” AIGP Apora said.

Police bosses also praised management for prioritizing officers’ welfare, insisting every officer deserves dignity, support and proper facilitation — regardless of whether their shoe size belongs to a human being or a construction excavator.
For PPC Olepus, the delivery was more than just receiving shoes. It was proof that the institution cares for its officers… even when one pair probably requires its own fuel budget and parking space.
