Nkata’s team stopped League champions KCCA FC 4-2 in penalties after the game was tied 2-2 at the Mbale Municipal Stadium.
Bwete was the star for the URA FC team after he saved Gaddafi Kiwanuka and Ronald Kisekka’s penalty kicks.
“It feels good that I have helped my team win the trophy and we shall play on the continent next year. We were disappointed that we failed to win the league title last month, but this win now gives us chance to celebrate,” Bwete says.
