EABL Director O’Keeffe fired
East African Breweries Limited (EABL) Director John O’Keeffe has quit the company after serving for 8 years.
In a notice issued Wednesday, The Board of Directors announced his resignation and confirmed that it took effect from 17 may 2022.

“The board of EABL hereby announce the resignation of Mr.John O’Keeffe as a Director of the Company with effect from 17th May 2022. Mr.O’Keeffe was also the president of Diageo Africa and will take on a new assignment within the Diago Group’ a notice reads.
The Notice also reads “ the Board takes this opportunity to thank MR.O’Keeffe for his inspiring, Vibrant, all inclusive and visionary leadership and wishes him the very best as he takes on his new role within the Diageo Group.
A highly placed source has confirmed to us that John was asked to resign after several board meetings.
