FDC Youth Wage War Against President Muntu

The days of Gregory Mugisha Muntu as president of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) are numbered, after a group of youth in the Party waging a vicious war against him.

The FDC youth who want Mugisha Muntu out accuse him of allegedly being in bed with high ranking members of the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM).

The FDC youth base their arguments on Muntu’s actions during the recently concluded East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) elections when he refused to support FDC stalwart Ingrid Turinawe and even attempted to pull her of the race in favour for Florence Ekwau Ibi.

To express how serious they are, these anti-Muntu FDC youth have since written a petition calling for a veto vote against Muntu, so as to oust him from the presidency.
