Swimming sensation Jamila Lunkuse was yesterday crowned Rwenzori Uganda Sports Achiever for the month of April.
She passed unopposed following her record win of a gold medal in Breaststroke and silver in free style at the CANA Championships in Lusaka, Zambia.
Competing in the 200m Breaststroke for 2:53.10sec, 100m freestyle for 1:17.29sec,Jamila won medals in Zambia last month. The teenager clocked 2:53.10sec to beat South Africa’s Koen Mieke 2:58.73 and Zambia’s Tilka 2:58.79 to the gold.
