Goldie’s husband, Andrew Harvey, on Friday posted pictures of their wedding and childhood pictures of his late wife, Goldie Harvey, who passed away on Thursday night.
He also released some childhood photographs of the late singer and wrote: “Memories of my Darling wife…A few pictures of my Time with Susan (Goldie) Harvey before her untimely passing”
Until now, many of Goldie’s fans were not aware that she was married, especially with her public romance with Kenyan rapper, Prezzo, who was a fellow contestant in 2012 All Stars Big Brother Africa show.
Shortly after news of the musician’s death broke on Thursday, Andrew announced, “To all my friends, I just want to let you know that my closest and best friend (Susan 2Goldie” Harvey) just passed tonight. am sure you will hear the rumours from paparazzi. may her soul rest in eternal peace.”
Shortly afterwards, he wrote, “To my bestest friend Susan “Goldie Harvey” I will miss your being so much!! Am sure the lord has you in his arms tonight!”
Mr. Harvey also responded to rumours that the late singer died from drug complications.
During the recording of Churchill Show last Tuesday, the Kenyan musician had announced plans to meet Goldie on Thursday for a Valentine’s date.
Their relationship started last year when they were housemates in the continent-wide reality show, Big Brother Africa Star Game. They have spent time together since the show ended.
It was not immediately clear why Mr Harvey, now a senior contracts engineer in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, chose to remain quiet all the while.
Prezzo was also married to Daisy Kiplangat but the two have since separated. They have a daughter named Zahrie Bhoke.
