NSSF – KAVC Volleyball Tournament

Hosting club for the 18th NSSF – KAVC Volleyball international tournament, Kampala Amateur Volleyball Club (KAVC) reckons to add to their already glittering trophy cabinet.

“We want to add to the trophy cabinet and have that honour of clinching the trophy on home soil”, Dick Muwezi says.

So far KAVC have won 8 and 6 titles of the women and men categories over the history rich laden tournament.

With newly crowned Rwanda Genocide memorial champions, Rayon Sports, Burundi’s Rukinzo and Muzinga,  Kenya teams – Prisons , Administration Police and GSU expected at the this championship, it looks to be seen how KAVC men will negotiate.

Apart from Rayon Sport, women sides Vision Volleyball Camp (VVC) and Espoir will also be two new teams from the local scene out of the invited 17 clubs. Last Year Nkumba University won the women’s version on their first time of asking, though Ndejje Elites failed to make it out of the group stages.
