KCCA FC sign Wabyoona on a 5-year deal

Teenager Faisal Wabyoona has signed a 5-year deal with Uganda Premier League side KCCA FC from 2022 – 2027.
The contract is with effect 1st July 2022 – 2027.
Wabyoona who played for the Uganda Hippos in the AFCON U20 finals in Mauritania 2021 under the tutelage of Morley Byekwaso is a versatile midfielder who can play as an attacking, central as well as defensive midfielder.
Wabyoona is a former Bright Stars FC and Big Talent Academy player.
He will be competing for a spot in the squad with the likes of Moses Waiswa, Ashraf Mugume, and Emmanuel Wasswa among other players.
The 19-year-old spoke to the club website after putting pen to paper
“I feel very happy to sign for KCCA FC. This is a very big club and I am aware of the task at hand but I am ready for the competition. I have worked with the Manager Morley Byekwaso at the U20 National Team and this was an easy decision for me to make. I can wait to get started soon with the lads,” Wabyoona said.
Wabyoona becomes the second player to join KCCA FC in this transfer window after Moses Waiswa.
