Simba FC Captain Robert Kimuli is elated by his side’s current performance in the 2016/17 FUFA Big League.

The aging midfielder was on target as Simba at home walloped relegation battling Moroto United 3-0 at Mashariki grounds on Sunday.

Kimuli scored after the break following Joseph Mutimba’s opener before Joseph Kayira sealed Simba’s fourth straight home victory with a thrid from sole effort.

“We started on a low tone but I am glad we are picking up. All we need to improve is winning away from home,” noted Kimuli who formerly captained Bunamwaya (current Vipers SC).

Win-less Moroto have lost seven and drawn twice, sitting at the foot of the 12 team Elgon group while Simba moved a place to seven with 10 points. Paidha Black Angels FC lead the group with 15 points in 9 games.
