Kisoro Schools Resort to Photocopying as Inadequate SST Papers Supplied

Schools in the south western district of Kisoro on Monday afternoon resorted to photocopying after inadequate examination papers were delivered to several schools.

According to the Kisoro District Education Francis Munyarubanza the shortfall was faced at 60 examination centres and this caused a delay in the starting time for the exams.

Munyarubanza says that the education officials in the district after consulting with the UNEB officials decided to photocopy some of the exam papers. This caused a delay since it could only be done in Kisoro town before embarking on re-distribution.

Busamba Primary school in Nyarusiiza Sub County is one of the examination centres that were affected.

Emmanuel Mbonyebyombi  the headteacher at Busamba primary school says they were frustrated when they learnt that the papers were inadequate. He says that delayed the start of the exams for an hour and half.
