Two Jamaican dance hall stars Garfield Spence aka Konshens and Alaine Laughton known by her first name on Friday night put up a thrilling music show at Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala that left many fans ecstatic.
The two who had earlier promised to set ‘Kampala on fire’ with their mega hits lived up to many fans expectations.
“Tomorrow it will be mad, we are going to have a great show,” vowed Konshens during a Meet and Greet party at the Kabalagala based Club Venom on Thursday August 22.
The meet and Greet party yesterday attracted very many revelers and by midnight, the house packed to capacity.
Local Artists like Navio, Cindy, Toniks, Klear Kut’s JB and many more graced the party though they had to first plead with the bouncers before they could be allowed to access the club.
Most of the musicians were seen making endless calls to unknown people to come to their rescue.
The eve of the concert highlighted a clear picture that Konshens music is much appreciated in the ‘Pear of Africa.’
Konshens and Alaine hit the club the at around 1:30am in the night and the revelers were seen trying to catch a glimpse of the Jamaican dancehall stars as the they entered the club under tight security.
They were escorted to the VIP section of the club that was filled to capacity.
The unknown group of dancers almost conquered the party when they danced to Konshens and Alaine’s music by pulling out strokes that unseated every reveler in the club.
It was a moment of joy, happiness and excitement when the Uganda’s 7star Dj Rodger hit the Dj box and assassinated the discs.
Dj Rodger played Konshens and Alaine’s music to the extent that everyone in the club was seen dancing.
Konshens and Alaine left the club at around 2:30am and the revelers were seen dancing and drowning in booze until the wee hours of Friday.
