KONY’S JUNGLE BABES BACK! Govt Ends Kony’s Illegal Bonking Spree in CAR Bush Hideout, Rebel Wives, Love Kids Rescued

Uganda has dramatically flown back two women linked to feared LRA warlord Joseph Kony — together with a bundle of children — after years hidden deep inside the lawless jungles of the Central African Republic.
The emotional yet eyebrow-raising rescue operation saw the women and children land at the UPDF Airbase in Entebbe under tight military escort after being picked from Bangui by Ugandan intelligence operatives.
Among those returned was 33-year-old Ikol Grace — said to be one of Kony’s “wives” — who was abducted as a 10-year-old girl from Amuria District back in 2003 before vanishing into rebel captivity for more than two decades.
She arrived clutching her two children, Ayuma Maria, 8, and little Oryema Bosco, 2.
Also rescued was South Sudanese national Aniyessi Teregina, another woman reportedly linked to the rebel boss, who was abducted at just 13 years old from Yambio in South Sudan and spent years trapped in the rebel wilderness.

In a statement by Col. Chris Magezi, the Acting Director Defence Public Information at the Ministry of Defence and Veteran Affairs, the women were escorted home by Richard Otto, Uganda’s Chief of Defence Intelligence and Security, in a secretive cross-border operation stretching across some of Africa’s most dangerous rebel zones.
According to the army, the women escaped earlier this year after unknown gunmen attacked Kony’s remote camp near the volatile borders of Sudan, South Sudan and CAR — forcing wives, children and fighters to scatter into the bush.
In total, eight of Kony’s wives and 13 children reportedly escaped the rebel hideout during the chaos.
The UPDF says several other women linked to Kony have already been quietly returned over the last two years as the once-feared LRA network continues collapsing in the jungle shadows.
But despite years on the run, the mystery surrounding Kony’s remaining hideouts — and the number of women and children still trapped with him — continues to fuel intrigue across the region.
