Okullu Jasper narrated that he first heard someone trying to break into the depot by cutting off the roof of the warehouse.

He then called the depot manager Odongo Edward who immediately notified Police.

Aswa Region Police spokesperson Okema Jimmy Patrick confirms that they received a call from the depot management on the attempted break and two police officers were sent to the scene.

The depot is located on Labwor Road, opposite the UMFOR Microfinance Centre.

The depot is behind Jet Set Forex Bureau which was robbed by armed thugs in August 2013 of 40 million shillings.
