Netball league Kicks off with No Sponsor

The reopening of Nakivubo war Memorial stadium will see the start of the 2013-2013 national Netball league on Saturday 18th May 2013 with
several games on card.

Defending champions NIC will be taking on KCCA and while Police will be up against Mbarara club at noon. In other games on the day,
Prisons will take on Posta, while UPDF waits Blue Stars at 3 pm and UCU play TLC. The day will climax with a men’s game where Uganda
Christian University meets Kampala University at 4.30 pm. Uganda prison are the men’s defending champions.

But as usually known to Ugandan sports, the league will for the other time commence with no sponsor and the league organizers have not seat
back to seek for companies to come for their rescue. “We have no sponsor but we call upon all companies to come on board”.
Mpoza Dennis, one of the league organizers appealed.
