Police Arrests Man For Defiling 2 Daughters
A man has been arrested in Masaka for forcing two of his children to have sex with him.
The man, identified as Christopher Nyombi, is a resident of Kitengesa Village, Buwunga Sub County, Masaka district. He claims to be a witchdoctor by profession.
Nyombi reportedly started coercing his two daughters to have sex with him after their mother left their marital home last year.
The eldest daughter fled the home after being forced to have sex with her father several times. She left in her father’s care her 16-year-old sister.
It is the 16-year-old (names withheld) who reported to Masaka police that her father had been forcing them to have sexual intercourse with him.
The girl narrated to the officers that her father had ordered her on Tuesday to stop sleeping in her bedroom and shift to the sitting room. She believed this was to enable him to have access to her more easily.
Masaka district police Commander Henry Kavuma confirmed Nyombi’s arrest.
Kavuuma says Nyombi will be taken for a battery of tests including HIV/AIDS. He is likely to face charges of indecent assault and defilement when investigations are completed
