Producers Pyret, Tony Houls Disappear In the UK
The rate at which local creative artistes are sneaking out of the country for greener pastures abroad is alarming.
After several artistes sneaked out to USA and Canada under unclear circumstances a few years back, the latest to join the bandwagon is popular music producers Tony Bikumbi aka Tony Houls of Firebase Records and Kisakyamaria Francis famously known as Producer Pyret Beats, who disappeared in the UK to try their hands on Kyeyo.
Snoops reveal that the two producers sneaked out of the country last month to do some work-permitted engagements in London.
However, after completion of their work, the two disappeared in the streets of London from their hosts and to date, their known areas of hibernation have remained unknown.
We hear the promoters who hired them for the events are having sleepless nights because they might lose their accreditation licenses.
Tony Houls has been the official Firebase Crew producer and is the brain behind the production of many of Bobi Wine’s songs such as ‘Nakazzi’, ‘Funtula’, ‘Abalungi Balumya’, ‘Ghetto’, ‘Nyimbira Kabaka Wange’, ‘Mr. Katala’ and many others which were all hits.
However, besides producing Bobi Wine’s songs, he has also always been involved in the production and sound engineering at all of Bobi Wine’s music concerts and whenever any artiste under Firebase Crew is performing on stage.
“They disappeared and it’s Bobi Wine who went with him [Tonny] as a producer of his show to work on sound,” said a source.
Sources add that it will now be tough for producers to get viasas for such UK gigs.
