‘Rebel’ MPs Abandon Threat On NRM Food
Lwemiyaga MP Theodore Sekikubo and Buyaga MP Barnabas Tinkasimire chewed their own words when they tasted the scrumptious meal at the on-going NRM retreat at Kyankwanzi.
The controversial MPs who, before the NRM Parliamentary caucus retreat had threatened not to eat food and vowed to eat their take away “biscuits”, abandoned their plan and instead feasted on meals prepared at the Institute with other participants of the retreat.
Whereas they continue to portray a picture that their colleague the late Nebanda was poisoned, the Buyaga County MP Barnabas Tinkasimire, whose wife died under mysterious circumstances ate food in
Kyankwanzi and his collegues were over heard teasing him as to whether the sumptuous meal they were visibly seen enjoying had been prepared by Hon. Mabel Bakeine’s daughter.
The two MPs were later seen having a second helping contrary to their earlier threats.
