Rugby super 8 returns this weekend
The national rugby league bounces back this weekend at Lugogo play grounds in Kampala. The Nile special sponsored league will see two semifinal games
where overall favorites MTN Heathens who are still unbeaten will be battling it out with G4S Pirates while D Mark powers will be entertaining Buffalos at Kyadondo Rugby club and Legends Club Lugogo respectively to determine who qualifies for finals.
8 teams competed in this year’s league in a round robin format where the top four qualified for semifinals and the others vied for 5th position play off.
Entebbe Mongers humiliated visiting Summer Kamp 34-13 in Entebbe while XFM Impis also managed to thump Rhinos 17-10 at Makerere. –both winners will face each other for the 5th position late this month.
