Murder Susupect Sebuwufu Granted Bail

High Court Judge Justice Wilson Masalu Musene has finally granted a Shs20million cash bail to the Pine Car Bond boss Mohammed Ssebufu.

Sebuwufu was also ordered to deposit his passport with the court and must report regularly to the court starting October 7th.

Sebuufu, had his first bail application denied last month on grounds that he would influence or intimidate witnesses.

His co-accused SP Aaron Baguma was also granted bail by the same Judge yesterday.

Ssebufu’s sureties who include Tamale Mirundi, Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata, and Hajji Abdul Karim have been bonded shs100million non-cash each.

Sebufu, had been on remand at Luzira prison since last year with seven others over the charges of murdering businesswoman Donah Katushabe over a 9m debt she owed to him.
