Sheikh Abdullah Aziz Hussein sacked
The Mufti of Uganda, His Eminence Sheikh Shaban Ramathan Mubaje has sacked the Northern Region Khadi, Sheikh Abdullah Aziz Hussein over mismanagement of Muslim funds.
During his visit to Lira district over the weekend, Mubaje revealed that he has relieved the Khadi off his duties until further notice
It has been reported that during his prompt visit, Mubaje found the office of the Khadi without any office equipment which led to investigations on the Khadi.
Sheikh Abdullah Aziz Hussein has been replaced with Sheikh Musa Khalil of Acholi Muslim District from Gulu.
Mufti Sheikh Shaban Ramathan Mubaje said that Sheikh Abdullah Aziz Hussein failed to account for the revenue collected from Juba market in Lira city.
Sheikh Abdullah Aziz Hussein accused the members at Uganda Muslim Supreme Council of sabotage and threatening his work which greatly affected his leadership as a Khadi.
