Starlink buses Owner Rtd Maj Masumbuku Succumbs to COVID-19

Kanungu – Major (Rtd) William Ntuyehe Masumbuku, the proprietor Starlink Coaches, has died.

News reaching our desk indicate that Maj. (Rtd) Masumbuku, who also owns a three star hotel in Kanungu District, lost battle to COVID-19.

Musumbuko has been battling the deadly virus at Mulago Hospital were he was announced dead today morning.

“With deep sorrows I announce the demise of my in law Major (Rtd.) William Ntuyehe Masumbuku of Starlink bus services who has succumbed to COVID 19 at Mulago hospital, burial arrangements to be communicated later,” a communication reads.

Musumbuko who also hails from Nyamwegabira in Kihihi Town Council will be missed being a great NRM cadre and a pillar of development in the District.

To date, Uganda has registered 76,562 total cumulative confirmed cases and 830 deaths all out of 1,295,376 tests conducted since the scourge in March 2020.
