Stella Nantumbwe Is Miss Uganda

The race for Miss Uganda 2013/2014 finally came to an end on Saturday night and the 22 year old Stella Nantumbwe was crowned Miss Uganda 2013/2014.
She tussled it out with 21 other beautiful and elegant girls for the crown.
Stella’s beauty, brilliance, confidence and accuracy made her win the crown.
It was a historical moment in Stella’s life as her name was read out by the Miss Uganda world Chief Executive Officer, Brenda Nanyonjjo.

Stella also won the Miss Congeniality crown after being chosen by her fellow contestants.
Nantumbwe’s winning earned her a Mercedes Benz A class which will fully serviced and fueled by Miss Uganda World in conjunction with Nile Breweries.
Stella will also receive a monthly allowance of Shs 1.5 million during her reign as Miss Uganda
Anita Kyalimpa, 18 who hails from the land of milk and honey was the first runner up and walked away with 12 million shillings as her annual allowance.
Sandra Amongin was the second runner up and she walked away with Shs 6 million

Performances for various artists that included, MoRoots, Grace Nakimela and Lillian Mbabazi were excellent and put the revelers in a relaxing mood.
Uganda’s renowned comedian Alex Muhangi, the funniest Mukiga ensured that every gets a dose of laughter for the night.
Agaba ‘Gabs’ Tumusiime and Crystal Newman, the emcees of the night at Kampala Serena Hotel kept the revelers in a joyous mood.
Stella now will represent Uganda at the miss world beauty contest that will be in Indonesia come September 2013.
