Stella Nyanzi Goes Naked, Lokodo Orders her Arrest
Controversial and FDC diehard Makerere University lecturer Dr Stella Nyanzi has today morning stripped at Makerere Institute for Social Research (MISR).
“I have thrown my clothes outside Mamdani’s office. I am naked as I cry out for my office,” she posted on her Facebook page before it was blocked.

She was evicted from office by Prof. Mahmood Mamdani who is the head of the institute.
Lokodo Moves To arrest Stella Nyanzi
Shortly after the naked protest, Ethics and integrity Minister Simon Lokodo ordered the arrest of Dr Stella Nyanzi. The arrest is to be effected.
Office opened
After the protest, Dr Stella Nyanzi’s office was reopened.
Nyanzi, who over the last few days has been protesting her eviction from her department office, this morning, caused a stir when she undressed, flashing her bare chest on live television.
Nyanzi was locked out of her office last week for her refusal to abide by the MISR policies.
The head of the Institute Prof. Mahmood Mamdani ordered her eviction, accusing her of refusing to participate in the Institute’s PhD teaching program.
