TRIALS! Blonde tempts Minister Baryomunsi with nudes

Minister of Information, Communications, Technology and National Guidance, Chris Baryomunsi has decried the rampant cyber harassment within Uganda’s internet space, saying one lady sent him nude photos and asked for Shs100,000 to share more photos.
Baryomunsi made the shocking remarks while appearing before Parliament’s Human Rights Committee that is investigating human rights violations including kidnappings, torture, violent arrests.
Baryomunsi decried the increase in cyber harassment where people create and operate pseudo social media accounts to disseminate highly offensive content and spend hours invading privacy of others, posting inflammatory, sexual explicit material.
He explained: “I was trying to check the message some anonymous lady sent me, but I didn’t easily see it. She was saying send me Shs100,000 and I show you my nude pictures and doing myself with fingers and you see the waters and she put her picture.”
THE Minister added: “I don’t know her but she put her naked picture and she said send me Shs100,000 and I send you more. So I just ignored and I am sure many people have experiences of people making suggestive and obscene, so I was cyber harassed, the whole of me.”
Although Baryomunsi is an adult, an August 2018 report titled; Uganda Violence Against Children Survey Findings From A National Survey by the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development detailed the prevalence rates of sexual violence among children, some of which are now accessing social media, indicating that of 18-24 year old Ugandans, one in three girls (35%) and one in six boys (17%) reported experiencing sexual violence during their childhoods. This included 11% of girls experiencing pressured or forced sex.
However, despite the gravity of the sexual harassment, Baryomunsi laughed off the experience and he was joined by fellow MPs in the laughter.
