Ugandan Debate Coach Ankasasira Junior Victor Wins Medal in South Sudan

Uganda’s Akansasira Junior Victor has been announced as one of the 2022 best debate coaches across the Republic of South Sudan.

The debate competition was organized by National Speech and Debate Association (NSDA) in the 10 ten States of south Sudan.

They include Central Equatoria (Juba), Western Equatoria (Yambio), Eastern Equatoria, (Torit), Jonglei (Bor), Unity (Bentiu), Upper Nile (Malakal), Lakes (Rumbek), Warrap (Kuacjok), Western Bahr el Ghazal (Wau), and Northern Bahr el Ghazal (Aweil).

Ankasasira emerged the best coach for Jonglei (Bor), in South Sudan that took place at the Dr.John Garang Memorial University of Science and Technology. His Greenbelt Academy was the best school that out competed other schools up to finals.

Akansasira , a Ugandan patriotic cadre of August in-take 2016 at NALI kyankwanzi is professional teacher of English and Literature, youth Activist and famous Pan-Africanist.

‘’He is passionate about poetry and youth advocacy for social economic transformation’’, a source in Jonglie said.

He currently works with Education Bridge that has institution of Education in South Sudan as a sports and Clubs head.

As a debate Coach, Ankasasira says it is his sole responsibility to train young people in institutions debating format skills.

‘’That is Karl popper, World Scholars and British Parliament debate format so as they can excel in logical, critical and creative thinking skills’’, he noted.

NSDA membership builds confidence, boosts classroom performance, improves communication, and increases critical thinking skills to prepare students for other success in the future.
