Uganda’s Dream On Despite Defeat To Egypt

The Uganda national men’s volleyball team got a setback in their campaign at the Africa FIVB Zone V World Championships qualifiers against Egypt with a straight sets (25-15, 25-22, 25-16) defeat at Amahoro Indoor stadium on Thursday.

The loss makes Uganda’s next game against Kenya today a must win for Anthony Ndawula’s team to have realistic hopes of qualifying to the next round as second runners up or second runners up in this tournament. Uganda has one win while the Kenyans have lost twice losing to Egypt and Rwanda
Rwanda won their opening game against Burundi 3-0 and Egypt beat Kenya 3-2 before humiliating Rwanda in their second match yesterday.
