Why NRM Needs Kagoma North MP Brandon Kintu for Caucus Publicity Secretary
The ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) first and incumbent Member of Parliament for Kagoma North Constituency in Jinja District, Hon. Brandon Kintu’s acts of humility, generosity and hard work have earned him a place in the hearts of the party members , with the majority vowing to make him their caucus spokesperson.
It should be noted that the 6th meeting of the 4th central executive committee (CEC) of the NRM party which was held at Entebbe on Tuesday resolved to recommend Kintu and other two members to the parliamentary caucus for election to the position of publicity secretary.
Speaking to our reporter, youthful Brandon alias Musaayi Muto says he believes a strong mouthpiece is needed to inform the public on the importance of the caucus.
‘’I am a young, charming, and result oriented leader that has over time believed in an effective communication flow as a prime objective in the path to attain tremendous service delivery. I have the necessary skills that make me the best fit to become the NRM Caucus Publicity Secretary’’, Kintu told our reporter.
Kintu has set his sights on mobilizing MPs to work towards implementation of the NRM manifesto. He says this will help the MPs to work closely with the constituents. Other positions include treasurer, Vice chairperson and flag bearer for East African Legislative Assembly. Hon. Lillian Aber went through unopposed for the position of General Secretary.
One of the things Kintu has assured NRM of is that he wants to build an efficient path for effective communication dialogue between the public and the caucus. It’s essential to establish clear objectives in line with what will help the caucus grow and transform at large. Teamwork is as paramount as my need to affect it’’, added Kintu.
‘’ With the proper mobilization there should be, we can bridge any gaps between the public and NRM.
One of the Mps from Kabarole District said; ‘’with his articulateness, consistency, interceding abilities, he has full potential to boost the caucus status on publicity as well as render his proficient skill sets. We are certain that his persuasiveness will contribute greatly to the caucus’ overall growth’’.
With the fact that the world is advancing by leaps and bounds, Kintu says they need to pick up new technologies to channel up with the current swift workflow.
‘’With the adoption of the emerging trends in technology, we can sharpen the activities to a great extent’’, he said.
Although Kintu is battling Hon. Dan Kimosho Atwijukire MP Kazo Constituency and Busia Woman MP Hellen Auma Wandera, many believe he will replace Margaret Muhanga as NRM Caucus Spokesperson.
