Wrestlemania 33: The Undertaker Retires


WWE WrestleMania 33 ended on an emotional note as one of professional wrestling’s most iconic stars announced his retirement.

After suffering only the second WrestleMania loss in his decades-long career, The Undertaker removed his coat, gloves and hat, placed them in the center of the ring and exited the arena.

What was left was for the world to mourn the loss of The Deadman and WWE fans are still in shock.

The Undertaker, aka The Phenom, suffered defeat, at the hands of Roman Reigns.

After the fight, he placed his famous coat, hat and gloves in the middle of the ring and walked out showing he had faced his last opponent.

The crowd in the arena were clearly left upset with some of the WWE universe in tears as they watched there hero walk down the ramp.

The Undertaker – real name Mark Callaway – debuted for Vince McMahon’s promotion 25-years-ago and has been a fan favourite ever since.

And now supporters are taking to Twitter to thank the man who ends his career with a 23-2 record at WrestleMania, posting heartfelt messages with the hashtag #ThankYouTaker.
