The Uganda Peoples’ Defence Force are now investigating the circumstances under which an army officer randomly shot at people at a drinking joint in Mbuya, Kampala killing at least 3 people.

The dead include a 3-year old boy as the unidentified army man remains on the run.

The incident is said to have stemmed from the soldier’s failed relationship with a woman not yet identified.

The shooting that took place last night follows last year’s where a UPDF soldier killed 11 civilians in Bombo.
