He says the weapons were found abandoned in a bush in Kamoda parish. He says that army has managed to recover 219 guns, 143 bombs and 5,945 bullets from Teso sub region over the past eight years.
Omagor says that some of the arms were confiscated from residents while others were voluntarily surrendered. He appeals to residents still holding illegal guns to hand voluntarily.
Operation Restore Hope was introduced in Teso in 2008 to recover illegal guns, bombs and bullets.
