Disc Spinner Momo Dead
Renown Ugandan RnB Disc Jockey, Moses Nsereko a.k.a DJ Momo has passed away. DJ Momo who breathed his last in India on Friday after an operation has been the most popular audio beats DJ in Uganda and his death has come as a shock to many.
DJ Momo was affiliated to Guvnor and club Rouge, both popular night spots in the Ugandan capital Kampala.
He represented a class of DJ’s who used computers to mix their music specializing in PC DJ and Virtual DJ software. DJ Momo also worked at Mateos in the city centre among others.
DJ Momo Nsereko was suffering from a condition where hard, pebble-like stones form inside the gallbladder.
They are called gallstones and are said to be as small as a grain of sand or as large as a golf ball. The condition is caused by the accumulation of bile components.
According to Wikipedia, ‘presence of gallstones in the gallbladder may lead to acute cholecystitis, an inflammatory condition characterized by retention of bile in the gallbladder and often secondary infection by intestinal microorganisms, predominantly Escherichia coli and Bacteroides species.”
In one of his last messages on social media site Facebook, DJ Momo who had been hospitalized last week wrote “Thank u all my friends who visited me, sent me a get well soon message and those who prayed for me and lastly to my haters…”
The former disc spinner will be remembered as one of the best RnB DJs of his generation.
