Entebbe Know Their Time Will Come

Relegation bound Entebbe FC are confident they will get a much needed win in the 2013/14 FUFA  Super League ahead of the their tie today against fellow strugglers CRO at the Mutesa II stadium in Namboole Stadium.

The basement side are yet to test victory in 21 league games played and after falling 0 – 3 last week at Namboole to SCVU was their 12th defeat of campaign to add to the twelve draws they have picked up.

Veteran Yusuf Kinene is feeling the pressure, but says that they are concentrating on getting a much needed first win of the season to ease the pressure on fellow players.

“We need a win at all costs. Our play is very good and the players are trying hard. We have been closer to winning games than losing which is why we feel that the first win of the season is very important, he said.

Kinene has scored almost all the goals for the team this season.

It remains to be witnessed whether Matia Lule (head tactician) will make the Entebbe team bench for the first time since he was recruited after the departure of James Odoch to Baza Holdings.

During the last game, neither, him nor his assistant, Alex ‘Mabanga’ Gitta appeared for the game a well wisher, Christopher Ssebuliba, an aspiring member of Parliament for Entebbe Municipality took over the clubs’ bench.
