Express FC Struggle To Beat Rweshama FC


Two first half goals from Yafesi Mubiru and John Ssemazzi saved Express FC to cool down Rwenshama FC in the Uganda Premier League match played at the Muteesa II stadium Wankulukuku on Tuesday evening.
From a previous four game loss in a row, Express FC found it a hustle to record their 3rd win out their last eleven encounters in Uganda’s top flight League.
The Red Eagles started on a high and got in front in the 19th minute with Yafesi Mubiru’s goal.
Six minutes later, John Ssemazzi pushed it to 2-0 with a strong header from Godfrey Lwesibawa’s cross.
The score remained the same for almost 55 minutes. Wasswa Bbosa’s side was checked when Sseninde Dancan struck a consolation for the visitors in the the76th minute.
Rwenshama FC gained confidence and the hunt for an equalizer was on with strikes from Mugisha Brian, Mutebi Rashid and Kimuli Robert.
Express FC had a chance to silence Charles Ayeko’s side a few minutes to time but their chance was wasted by Abdalla Muhammad
