Season 5 of the fun filled Friday Nights Light Basketball (FNL) returns this friday at the YMCA, Wandegeya where ten teams will be competing for five million shillings prize after eight weeks.
The competition comes with so much fun, entertainment from basketball players, artists and fans who get a chance to rub shoulders with each other before the league starts.
This year’s competition has Team Lamunu as the new entrant and also the second team led by a female basketball player after Moreen Amoding’s team that has featured in the last three seasons.
Each team as usual must have at least two female players and a fan on court.
Last year, team Ikong defeated debutants them team Sudi in the final and walked away with five million shillings.
There will be also some entertainment from artistes like, Irene Ntare, Sheebah, A-pass among others.
The basketball extravaganza will run for eight weeks from 30 Jan -30 March 2015.
