Having unveiled Saad Kibirango last week,The Saints football club has also completed the signing of players Joseph Kasekende, Muhammad Kasirye and Paddy Muhumuza to bolster their squad ahead of the second round of the FUFA big league next month.

Paddy Muhumuza has quite some experience having featured at Victors FC, SC Villa and Proline FC in the Super League and while the duo of Joseph Kaskende and Muhammed Kasirye were formerly at Masaka LC and CRO FC respectively.

The trio will add pace and competition in the midfield especially the holding role that was a concern for tactician Mark Twinamatsiko,”their work rate and aggressiveness is what we need in the midfield,” he said.

Kamada Ssebagala will have many options from his new teammates as he will be mainly tasked with creating goal scoring opportunities and directing the tempo of the game for the team and obviously enjoy the reunion with Paddy Muhumuza who used to partner him in the Proline midfield.

Meanwhile, defenders Brian Mukasa and Juius Madepi were released while midfielder Rajab Jooga’s loan deal from Sports Club Victoria University ended last month.

The Saints are currently leading the Rwenzori group with 29 points and will begin their Uganda Cup campaign with a visit away to Steel Fc in Masindi district on 14 Feb 2015.
