IGP Ochola Knifes Flying Squad Boss

The Inspector General of Police, Okoth Martins Ochola aka OMO has today knifed the commandant of the Police Flying Squad ACP Herbert Muhangi and disbanded his unit.
Muhangi has been removed and sent to head the manpower audit in the human resource directorate of the Police Force. The transfer takes immediate effect.
The Flying Squad Unit has been disbanded and reverted to CID and its equipment and personnel ordered to report to CID HQ at Kibuli for redeployment.
Others transfers are CP Abraham Sagal from IGP’s office to Interpol in charge of border monitoring unit.
SCP Elly Womanya leaves Interpol and is to now the deputy director Special Investigations Unit (SIU) at Kireka.
D/SSP Mark Odong Paul who headed the Case Tracking Unit under Kale Kayihura’s reign as IGP is named the chairperson Organised Crimes Department under the Special Investigations Unit.
