KACITA Boss Kayondo Succumbs to COVID-19
Kampala – Mr Kayondo Everest, chairman of Kampala City Traders Association (KACITA) has gone to be with the Lord.
This tragic incident has happened Wednesday afternoon, 23 June 2021, barely 48 hours since the passing of PSFU Boss Gideon Badagawa.
Kayondo breathe his last at Lifeline where he has been undergoing medication for some days.
According to KACITA chief executive officer, Abel Mwesigye, Kayondo was first rushed to Lifeline International in Zana, Kampala where he had been admitted with Covid-19 symptoms on Saturday.
“He died this afternoon at Lifeline International Hospital in Zana. He was admitted on Saturday after testing positive with Covid-19,” Mr Mwesigye said.
Everisto Kayondo was a renowned businessman and advocate for the rights of city traders.
He was also an investor in the tourism sector. Kayondo was the Managing Director of Ever Based Tours and Travel Ltd and a proud promoter of Domestic tourism in Uganda.
