Captain, Allan Anguyo has successfully led Ggaba based Kampala University  to the 2013 University Football League Championship in their debut season pimping  Nkumba University on the final match-day who they lost 2-0 to Makerere University in Entebbe.

Nk.Coach Vincent Tumusiime ‘s championship winning goals were scored by Faizal Mulondo (10, 27th), Ayeiko Richard (25min)  and Otai Peter  before Luze Bony (28th ) while pulled a consolation for MUST  in Mbarara.

KU defeated Must 1-0 in their first round encounter. Must, however, played that game without league top scorer, Siraje Musindo.

In Entebbe Makerere University’s David Ndihabwe recorded a brace to condemn 10-man Nkumba to a second place finish.

The final day results mean that Kampala University who have led the table since the start of the second round finishes on 35 points, 4 points ahead of second placed Nkumba university, MUBS is 3rd lagging behinnd on a distant 26 points, Makerere University (22), Ndejje University (16), Mbarara University of Science and Technology (7th on just 5 points) while Uganda Martyr’s University, Nkozi tails the 8 team log on just 3 points.
