Kayihura Shuffles Police Bosses Again

The Inspector General of Police Kale Kayihura has made another reshuffle in the police force redeploying many of the officers that had just recently started a refresher course at Bwebajja.

The reshuffle of deployments is in a memo dated November 8th and wired to Directors, Regional Police Commanders and District Police Commanders across the country. The changes take immediate effect.

Those shuffled include Senior Superintendent of Police Paul Kakamba who has been on a training course in Bwebajja and will now be expected to report for duty in Kidepo region as Regional Police Commander.

Peter Nkulega also SSP is also leaving Bwebajja academy to report for duty in North Kyoga as RPC.

John Etamu (SSP) leaves North Kyoga and is deployed at Police Professional Standards Unit (PSU) in Bukoto in the Pending Investigations Unit.

Bob Kagarura ( SSP) is removed from the Logistics and Engineering Department and sent to Sezibwa as new Regional Police boss.

Joel Tubanone who was a subject of social media ridicule this week after suffering the effects of tear gas fired at FDC’s Kizza Besigye, has been removed from Lira and deployed to the PSU Pending Investigations Unit.

Musimenta Rutagira leaves his post in Bulisa and is appointed the District Police Commander Namutumba.

George Obua (SP) leaves Bwebajja and heads to Kayunga as District Police Commander.

Tom Eyaku (SP) joins PSU Pending Invesigations Unit from Maracha.

Emmanuel Mafundo replaces Tubanone in Lira as DPC from Mityana.

SP John Bosco Serunjogi who has been at Bwebajja replaces Mafundo in Mityana.
