Kayunga Demoted As Beach Soccer First Rounds Ends

Kayunga town council beach soccer club has been demoted from the 2016-17   Pespi national beach soccer league after missing three games.

Deo Mutabazi  the  UBSA  boss  told pepper sport  that Kayunga TC alongside  Buwanika Bulls will not take part in the second  games which start in January  2017  according to rules and regulations any team which fail to honor  3 consecutive games is automatically kicked out of the league.

“Those two teams had issues with management that is why they failed to honor  their last three games,” said Mutabazi.

“Kayunga town council was formed by James Katumba who was the mayor of Kayunga but when he failed to return as the mayor he left the club and it was being funded by one young man in the names of Yusuf Mabingo who also run out of money, he added.

The league now takes a break for a month to all players conduct a midseason transfer.

The league returns next year in mid-January.  In the games played on Sunday saw In the Hurriken group, Muteesa 1 Royal University defeated Talented 3-1.

Lanky striker Ali Hassan Luboyera scored a brace before Allan Kasozi completed the misery with an own goal.
