KCCA Out to Stretch Lead in FSL

Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Football Club will be all out to try and stretch their lead in the FUFA Super League when they face Express FC this afternoon at their Lugogo Stadium. Although Express are in a miserable ninth place on the log, they are a team capable of bringing out their best when facing top teams. This is a fact KCCA FC Coach George Nsimbe told Uganda Radio Network they have factored in their preparations. They will thus not underrate Express FC. Cranes midfielder Hassan Wasswa is also expected to make his first start since he was cleared two weeks ago by FIFA to get a provisional license. Wasswa who said he is starting to get his fitness back has only come on as a substitute in the last two League games and played one full game in the 7-0 victory over Bweyogerere FC in the knock out Uganda Cup. With KCCA FC playing in their home ground and with lots of support expected, they could as well stretch their lead on the table if Vipers fail to beat Police FC. However, Express FC will look to their key marksman Bonny Baingana who is knocking in the goals lately. URA FC, who were ejected in the Champions League by Cameroon’s Cotton Sport last Saturday, will be back to local action when they take on Masaka FC. The other two matches on card will feature struggling army side Simba FC against Aurum Roses, while third placed SC Villa will battle SC Victoria.
