KCCA Players Survive Death by Whisker

Yesterday evening KCCA players survived death by a whisker after they were involved in an accident as they traveled to Western Uganda for Saturday’s Uganda Cup final.

The accident happened at Nekongolero-about 30Kms to Mbarara Town.

According to a KCC FC Official David Tamale, two players Savio Kabugo, Joseph Ochaya, two other occupants David Obua who has been training with the team and a support staff at KCC FC Lumala Adrian were traveling in the Pick-up car that got involved in an accident.

It has now been confirmed that the players are out of danger and fit for Saturday’s Uganda Cup final.

FUFA President Moses Magogo said that; “It is not good news for our football. We are sympathetic with what has happened to KCC FC. Every team would want to have its best players available for a high profile match like the Uganda Cup final. We pray that they recover soon.”
