Makerere University Student Burnt To Death Buried in Rukungiri
A student of Makerere University Business School(MUBS) who was burnt to death in Kampala City has been buried in Rukungiri district.
Immatulate Kebirungi was going to graduate on 19th January 2019 at Makerere University
Immaculate Kembabazi had just finished her course in BBA Majoring in Accounting. She had enrolled for a Professional course at MTAC.
Kembabazis was found tied to her bed, strangled and house set on fire using petrol allegedly by jealous boyfriend.
Her body taken to Mulago before burial in Rukungiri district.
Its alleged her Boy Friend Solomon who claims to be working in Germany was not happy with her.
Friends say Immaculate Kembabazi had refused to stay with Solomon who is believed to have bank rolled her in their happy times.
Her sister says their last chat was about Solomon and friends being at her house.
The Police is yet to comment on this incident.
In 2012, another MUBS student was strangled and lover held by police.
A city mechanical engineer was held by police over the suspected murder of his girlfriend a Makerere University Business (MUBs), third year student of Business computing.
